Research Experience for Undergraduates
Tulane University is located in Uptown New Orleans. Tulane’s Uptown campus is on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line across from Audubon Park, approximately four miles from the French Quarter.

Getting to New Orleans
For students flying to New Orleans, the destination airport is Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY). Taxis are readily available from the airport’s Ground Transportation area for travel to Tulane’s campus and cost $33 for 1 to 2 people or $14 per person for 3+ people.

For your convenience, we recommend taking a taxi or using public transportation when traveling around the city during your stay.
